Zach's place mission is to promote, strengthen, and support individuals with disabilities & their families. They provide families in the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas a place for respite care for their children with disabilities ages 5 to 21. Originally, it was designed for children with developmental disabilities but it is open to others as well. They offer structured and free play and teach life skills and socialization skills. They provide respite care (temporary time apart for parent/caregiver and child) in a home-like environment and have children daily after school and on school breaks.
